Did you catch the reference to Al Harris and his dreads as teammate Nick Barnett listed the starting defensive lineups at the start of the Green Bay/Minnesota game in the 2008 debut of Monday Night Football?
Here’s what Barnett said as he introduced Al Harris as the team’s starting cornerback:
“Starting at one corner is Al ‘don’t make me shake my dreads in your face’ Harris.”
Classic!!!
And despite the fact the NFL has talked about restricting the length of hair so it doesn’t cover the player name on the back of the uniform, 3irty1 takes a lot of pride in his dreads:
“I get my strength from my hair.”
